Set of six dessert plates from the French pottery Creil et Montereau, "Japan" service in slightly bluish glazed ironstone, round in shape, decorated with a design of plum trees, cherry trees, and blue chrysanthemums that run around the edge and the bottom of the plate. Also known as the "Monet" service, it has been produced since 1876 and reflects the significant influence of Japan at that time. These plates, bearing the stamp of 1895 on the back, are in very good overall condition as they show no cracks or chips. Ideal for enhancing your kitchen, they will add a vintage and Japanese touch to your table decoration.
