This French garden bench dates from the 1950s. It features a pair of painted iron end frames with a seat and backrest made of solid pine slats measuring approximately 30 × 35 mm. The bench still retains its original slats, which have developed a beautiful natural patina over the years. The layers of green paint have faded over time, giving the bench a unique aged appearance. The painted iron frame also shows signs of wear, surface rust, and paint loss consistent with its age. The bench is solid and stable, and can be used indoors or outdoors in appropriate conditions.
