Set of 12 large table knives and a leg of lamb carving set. 1900s, Napoleon III period. The fiddle-shaped handles are made of ebony or horn with silver and mother-of-pearl inlays. The ferrules are unmarked silver. The nickel-plated steel blades have rounded tips. They are all very shiny with minimal signs of use. They are engraved Duchampson & Caromelvick of Scheffield (United Kingdom). In excellent condition, this set never fails to amaze with the finesse of its star and snowflake patterns. The handles are very solid and do not move. Very rare in this condition, it will bring a delicate and refined touch to your table. Visible signs of time: the fork from the leg of lamb set is missing and there are some discreet and minimal losses to the inlays. Table knives: Length: 24.5. Max width: 2.4 cm. Leg of lamb knife: Length: 30.5 cm. Max. width: 2.8 cm. Leg of lamb handle: Length: 19 cm. Max. width: 5.5 cm.
