I made this chair in 1980 when I was a first-year student at the Bordeaux School of Architecture. At the time, I had designed a model in balsa wood. Upon retiring last year and moving my archives, I found this model. The Kwartz chair has not aged a bit (unlike me...), so I had this prototype made to validate its strength and feasibility.
