Shojiro sakai (shojiro sakai: 1921~) System: togatta system. Master: yoshisuke agatsuma. Disciple: [person] on january 1, 1910, he was born as the second son of kikue, heijiro sakai, a fishmonger sushi restaurant in fujitana, yokohama city, kanagawa prefecture. After graduating from school, I worked at the lighthouse of the japan coast guard in mishima, shizuoka prefecture. In 1954, he moved to his wife's hometown sendai, and lived in shinterakoji, wakabayashi ward, and painted a new type of kokeshi. Before long, I also began to draw traditional kokeshi, but I received the guidance from yoshisuke agatsuma. In addition to kichisuke agatsuma, kichiji used those of sadaharu oga and his son toshiaki oga. [work] kokeshi is only painted. He was painting according to the style of kichisuke agatsuma.
