Danish Modern teak wood and glass wall sconce light

A vintage mid-century wall sconce featuring a warm amber and clear glass shade with a distinctive geometric etched or engraved pattern around the central frosted section. The shade is mounted on a rich teak wooden backplate and decorative copper collar, complemented by a polished chrome or stainless-steel curved arm. The combination of teak, amber glass and chrome is particularly characteristic of Scandinavian mid-century design. The overall design has an elegant, organic silhouette, balancing natural wood with geometric glass and sleek metalwork. It would work particularly well as bedside lighting, hallway lighting, living-room accent lighting or as a pair beside a mirror or artwork. Although it is meant for hardwiring, it is currently equipped with an electrical cord. E14 light bulb socket.
