This vintage carving set is made from sculpted stag wood and excellent Rostfrei stainless steel. E.Knecht & Co, Solingen Germany. 4 quality pieces, including a carving knife, a fork, scissors, and a sharpening steel, with the blade made by F.DICK. Dimensions and condition of each piece: The knife: Length: 32.8 cm. Blade width: 2.8 cm. Wood width: 3.5 cm. Weight: 190 grams. Blade in good condition. It is well sharpened. The engraving on the blade is very faded, showing a stag in a forest. Handle in good condition, no cracks, the joint shows signs and deposits of oxidation, aging. The fork: Length: 29.5 cm. Fork width: 2.4 cm. Wood width: 3.8 cm. Weight: 184 grams. Fork in good condition, signs of oxidation at the joint. The carving scissors: Length: 28 cm. Closed width: 7 cm. Weight: 350 grams. Blades in good condition, opens and closes perfectly. Handle appears more aged, with more roughness. Signs of verdigris and oxidation on the joints and metal tips. The sharpening steel: Length: 34.4 cm. Max blade width: 1 cm. Max width: 4 cm at the metal ball finish. Handle width: 3.5 cm. Engraved on the sharpening steel F.Dick. Signs of rust on the sharpening steel and signs of oxidation on the joint to the handle. Handle in perfect condition. Weight: 237 grams.
