Pineapple glass globe ball lamp

Beautiful lamp with a glass globe with multiple facets that diffuse the light beautifully and recall the texture of a pineapple. This globe screws onto a black hard plastic base that contains the ceramic socket. It dates from the 60s or 70s. It can be fixed to the ceiling or as a wall light thanks to the two notches in the base, but it would also make a very elegant table lamp by drilling its current base (for the cable) or by adding a beautiful turned wooden base (I am a wood turner in my spare time, we can discuss it if you wish). I tested it, it works. The various elements are in good condition, but the glass seems to have a small defect, original or following a blow, very little visible in the middle of all these facets. The socket is intended for a large-base screw bulb (e27). The globe measures approximately 16 cm in diameter, the base measures 5 cm in height, the whole measures 19 cm in height.
