This fabulous pair of very large gold-gilt wall lights captures the elegance and artistry of mid-century spanish design. Crafted in the form of delicate, fine reed leaves, these striking sconces exude a graceful organic aesthetic, perfect for adding a touch of vintage glamor to any space. The distinctive star-shaped backplates provide a striking contrast to the gracefully curved arms, which extend outward to support round candle drip holders. The cream plastic candle drips, original to the sconces, display age-related marks and subtle discoloration, adding to their vintage character.though unmarked, their exquisite craftsmanship and distinctive style strongly suggest an attribution to ferro art, a renowned spanish lighting designer of the era. The sconces have french 2 core wiring and each take 2 small screws in e14 bulbs. These sconces are in great vintage condition, with marks and wear consistent with their age, which only add to their character and authenticity. The gold gilt finish has a beautiful aged patina, enhancing their vintage charm. Each backplate features two fixing holes for secure wall mounting after wiring.
