Both ceramics are in very good condition, no cracks, no shortages. The brown-handled vase has three very light enamel jumps of about two millimetres each, at the top of the reliefs, probably the result of friction. A tiny leap of enamel also down, on the edge, barely visible, but I want to point it out. The two ceramics are numbered on the reverse, in hollows, at the tip, 1774/18 for one, and 1424/14 for the other. The first number corresponds to the model, and the second number corresponds to the height of the piece. These are french productions from the late 1950s, and they amusingly imitate the much-loved german ceramics produced in quantity at the same time. Beautiful shades of brown and fire, warm colors of live and rich enamels, which play with the reliefs of the patterns of the shapes, make these two little vases a vintage vitamin duo to illuminate the house. The dimensions detailed in the ad are those of the larger of the two vases, the small one measuring 15 cm high, by 9 cm wide and 5 cm deep.
