Rare and charming antique oval dish from the 19th century, ironstone signed Onnaing, model "Poppies" with a bird. Delicate decoration depicting a bird in flight among poppies and foliage. Framed with a finely drawn vegetal frieze running along the edge. Ends adorned with moulded relief handles, adding much elegance to the silhouette. Soft ivory patina acquired over time. Ideal for a chic country decoration, Belle Époque style. Will naturally find its place on a table, as a centrepiece for presenting snacks, pastries, or fruits, but also as a catch-all, soap dish, or decorative object in an antique display. It is in very good condition, no cracks, no chips, signs of use. Rare piece.
