"Onda" 3-seater sofa by De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi for Zanotta, 1985

Three-seater sofa model "Onda", designed in 1985 by the Milanese trio Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi — the creators of the Blow chair and the Joe sofa — for the Italian publisher Zanotta. An iconic piece of Italian design from the 1980s: the chrome-plated steel tube structure follows a wave-like curve (onda) that envelops the seat. Original upholstery in blue microfibre, on a chrome base. Model documented in G. Gramigna, Repertorio del design italiano 1950-2000, Allemandi, Turin, 2003, p. 336. Dimensions: L 195 × D 78 × H 72 cm (seat height 44 cm). Materials: chrome-plated stainless steel, microfibre. Era: 1980s (edition 1985). Condition: good vintage condition.
