Mid century teak shelving unit, set of 3 extra wide shelves, Denmark 1970s

A minimalist, mid-century shelving unit in teak comes from Denmark and is dated most likely to the 1970s. The shelves have solid wood edges, what not only adds to their look, but also prevent items form falling down. The shelves are extra wide, 115 cm !. Most of the shelving systems from this period from Scandinavia were 70 to 90 cm wide. The dimensions of the unit are: H: 132cm|W: 115 cm|D: 30 cm. This shelving system is fully modular composition, offering free configuration options to suit your needs. The assembly system is simple and intuitive, with shelves mounted on solid wood rails using balck varnished metal hangers. One can place each of the shelves lower or higher. The set consists of: 3 shelves W: 115cm D: 30cm, 2 wooden rails 132 cm long, The shelving unit has been fully renoavated and upcycled. The wood has been sanded down and finished with a delicate satin lacquer to enchance the grain and add extra protection layer. We use parts of various mid century wall units to create consistent fully functional shelving systems and made th best of all the parts remaining.
