6 Terre de Fer plates – Mix and match from different manufacturers

Set of 6 antique ironstone plates, late 19th century to early 20th century, selected to create a mismatched table setting. The designs combine floral patterns, birds, bucolic scenes, and ornamental friezes in shades of blue, green, old pink, and sepia brown on white and ivory backgrounds. The lot includes: - Flat plate by Jules Vieillard & Cie, Bordeaux, "Moustiers" design, late 19th century. Blue decoration of a winged cherub carrying a quiver, accompanied by butterflies, within a frame of scrolls and floral motifs. Rich ornamental rim. Diameter: 21 cm. - Flat plate by Clairefontaine (Sanejouand-Graves), "Louis XV" model (central decoration of musical instruments and rose garlands, sepia brown). Diameter: 24 cm. - Flat plate by Longwy, "Mignon" model (decoration of birds, flowers, and insects, blue-green). Diameter: 21.5 cm. - Flat plate by H. Boulenger & Cie – Choisy-le-Roi, "Wild Rose" model (asymmetrical decoration of large wild rose flowers and leafy scrolls in rococo style, blue-green). Diameter: 23 cm. - Flat plate by Sarreguemines, "Fontanges" model (decoration of tulips and wildflowers, old pink, accompanied by an ornamental frieze). Diameter: 20 cm. - Flat plate by Moulin des Loups & Hamage, "Provence" model (wide geometric frieze with suspended garlands and medallions on the rim, green). Diameter: 21 cm. In very good vintage condition, authentic antique pieces showing signs of use related to their age: crazing of the glaze, slight natural colourations of the earthenware, and a circular brown stain in the centre of the Provence model, patina on the Jules Vieillard plate (see photos). A lovely mix and match of antique pieces.
