Antique fireplace from around 1880 in solid hand-carved elm with openwork columns.

We are delighted to offer this magnificent Eastern European fireplace made of finely carved solid elm. A very aesthetic and well-crafted piece. It comes from central Germany, where it was originally made. Likely from a large manor in this region. It is an exceptional piece that enhances any decor. The item has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished. There are signs of patina related to age and use, but it is in excellent condition according to our assessment. Dimensions: Height 111 cm, width 139 cm, depth 44.5 cm. The measurements are taken at the widest point. The item is available for collection from our warehouse in Pulborough RH20 1DF.
