Sicilian earthenware basin suspension, early 20th century

Superb polychrome earthenware basin suspension from Sicily, early 20th century. These basins were initially hung at the entrance of the house, and accompanied by sconces to highlight the quality of the ornaments. Female faces, lions, flowers hand-painted, the ornaments are superb. Metal chains and wooden and gilded stucco rosette. In very good condition, some traces of time.
