Drawing XVlllth century depicting a woman sitting at her desk and holding a letter. This drawing is enhanced with white. In a gilded wooden frame that also dates from the fifteenth century, with an old pass everywhere. On the reverse a label indicates that it is a work of Marie-Fançoise de Saint-Aubin (1753-1822). The author of the drawing was the stylist among others of Marie-Antoinette, wife of Louis XVl. The label also indicates provenance, folio fine art ltd, a famous gallery in London. A portrait full of charm and delicacy. The whole is rendered with finesse and poetry. The frame of the XVlllème and the matger perfectly highlight this drawing. 9.5 / 13.5 cm.
