Vintage limoges porcelain service composed of: I X oval flat (lo 37 X la 25 cm) 2 X oval flat (lo 21 X la 13 cm) including 1 with brilliance. 1 large round plate (d 29 cm) 10 X flat plates (d 23.2 cm) including 2 with a shine. 10 X dessert plates (d 20.5 cm) Each white plate is decorated with pretty pink flowers with blue and/or gray details. Limoges porcelain is one of the two main porcelain productions of france, and the only one from a real production territory, located around the city of limoges in the hautes – viennes. It was in 1768 that exploitable deposits of kaolin, an essential material for the production of this ceramic, were found, and it was from this discovery that limoges porcelain was born and developed.
