70s smoked glass and gilded brass fire screen

I offer you this vintage fire screen or spark guard from the 1970s, featuring a minimalist design with clean lines. It consists of a large thick smoked glass panel and rests on a beautifully crafted brass/bronze base. It will protect your interior while allowing you to admire the flames, or it could also decorate a non-functional fireplace. The overall condition is good, the glass has no chips, and the brass/bronze, like any copper alloy, oxidises (darkens): it can either remain as is or become very shiny after polishing with metal cleaner.
