Oval-shaped dish in Creil porcelain with a design imitating basketwork. An example of the know-how of this manufacturer known for its originality and finesse. This type of piece demonstrates the desire of Creil artisans to recreate everyday objects in a more decorative and luxurious way. This style of object was popular in the 19th century and was used for fruit baskets, bread dishes or even table centers... A slight lack (see photo) but remains well preserved for its age. Very beautiful piece for an authentic decoration!
