Mid-century style swivel wingback chair from the 1960s, Czechoslovakia

A mid-century modern swivel armchair made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. This wingback chair features a high, carved back with wide "wings," its original soft fabric upholstery, and a sturdy black metal swivel base. The fabric shows visible signs of age and wear, but the chair's structure remains solid, comfortable, and fully functional. The original double-cushion seat system allows for a naturally lower seating position. An authentic piece full of character, ideal for reading nooks, living rooms, studios, or retro interiors.
