case 10 bottles soapfactory gadenne-cornaille Lille The Gadenne-Cornaille soap factory, which dates back to 1840, was located on Rue de Valenciennes. The company offered soft, concrete soaps, as well as oleins and glycerin. The family home, which owns the site, was located within the factory grounds. Many modern buildings seem to have replaced this former factory. According to the few sources available, it appears that the plant occupied land between Rue de Valenciennes and Rue de Treviso.
