Venetian style paper basket, Italy 1960-1970

Red and gold motifs adorn this venetian paper basket. The paper basket is made of plastic, but due to the mode of application and the relief of the patterns, it seems to be made of wood. The basket has a scaly edge at the bottom and top. The item is in good general condition, but has some traces of wear due to its age. Dimensions at the top: 27 X 20 cm. Dimensions at the bottom: 20.5 X 13.5 cm.
