Vintage lounge chair set in Swedish beech by Yngve Ekström for Swedese, 1970s.

Vintage design. 2 high-back armchairs from the Swedish manufacturer Swedese based on a design by Yngve Ekström. The sides of the frame are very narrow and barely visible from the front. However, in profile, they appear very dominant. The seat is made with elegantly curved bentwood elements, creating a deliberate contrast with the rectangularity of the base frame. The original upholstery is no longer present. Standard matching cushions can be used without issue as they are simply placed on top. The armchairs are in very good condition with signs of wear. Light wear consistent with age and use, patina consistent with age and use, no cushions.
