Large Louis XV/Rocaille Style Serving Tray

Superb and Large Antique Serving Tray in the Louis XV/Rocaille style, likely dating from the early 20th century (a period when the style was very popular). This tray is distinguished by its large size and substantial weight of approximately 4 kg, attesting to the quality of its craftsmanship. The rim and two circular handles are richly decorated with rocaille motifs, stylized shells, and foliage, very characteristic of the Louis XV style. The tray is marked on the reverse with the words "DÉPOSÉ" (registering the design) and possibly "3.L. XV.", indicating its Louis XV inspiration and origin by a high-quality manufacturer.
