Mother-of-pearl lampshade for suspension

Lampshade consisting of mother-of-pearl pellets assembled with metal strapping. Its originality lies in its color turning orange on the edge of the pellets. It is in two parts, so one can decide whether to use it with or without the upper crown. It is necessary to provide a socket and a cable to make a suspension, but we can also imagine mounting it upside down on a table lamp... It must date from the 60s or 70s, it is in good structural condition, all the pellets are there and well fixed, but does not hide its age: a pellet has a crack that caused a large opaque mark. Traces and various marks on the other pellets and on the metal, gaps on the gilding. The lampshade is 13 cm high without the crown, and 17 cm high with the crown, the diameter of the opening is 25 cm. It weighs about 200 g.
