The Auböck family affectionately calls them 'potatoes'. Officially, they are model 'Drop', number 4636. A pair of minimalist, sculptural bookends, handmade of solid brass, patinated, with mirror-polished side and bottom. Designed by Werkstätte Carl Auböck in the 1950s, fully stamped and marked. Height 9 cm X width 5 cm X depth 8 cm. These are handcrafted pieces, so each piece and finish will differ slightly. Small surface nicks are a natural result of the handmade craftsmanship and should be embraced as part of the piece's unique character rather than viewed as defects.
