Contemporary Jacopo Foggini Mod Brilli E Gold Methacrylate Italian Chandelier

This contemporary chandelier, designed by Italian artist Jacopo Foggini, is crafted from methacrylate, a lightweight thermoplastic resin known for its glass-like aesthetic and chromatic qualities. Foggini, renowned for his innovative use of materials, developed a technique to melt methacrylate at 200°C, creating filaments that he hand-moulds into luminous, monumental artworks. This piece exemplifies his ability to blur the boundaries between art and design, featuring intricate labyrinths of colored light. The chandelier is new and custom-made, with dimensions of 105 cm in height and 100 cm in diameter. It is hardwired and originates from Italy.
