Vintage Scandinavian highboard 1960

Highboard from the modernist era of the 1960s, attributed to the Burwood publishing house (iconic unmarked model). This model stands out for the elegance of its minimalist geometric lines and the warmth of its beautiful Sapelli mahogany finish. Its slender tapered legs subtly lighten its generous proportions. Initially designed as a high-end office sideboard, its versatility makes it an ideal centrepiece for a contemporary living room, dining room, or chic office. Designed to optimise storage, the piece opens via two large sliding doors equipped with recessed handles (no swing required for opening, perfect for maximising your space). Left side: 2 wide sturdy wooden shelves. Right side: 1 large wooden shelf. Very good overall vintage condition. The original stamp is no longer present, but the piece is perfectly authentic to the period. The wood has a beautiful patina, and the structure is very stable and sound. Note regarding the mechanism: The solid wood doors are original and heavy.
