Rare music table thonet wien circa 1900 – wooden sheet music holder

Authentic music table / antique sheet music stand by THONET WIEN, still bearing its original label underneath the furniture. Very beautiful Viennese craftsmanship in stained beech wood, typical of Thonet productions from the late 19th / early 20th century. This type of furniture was designed to store sheet music in the vertical compartments of the lower part, while offering an intermediate shelf and a top surface usable as a side table. The structure features very beautiful details characteristic of Thonet furniture: steam-bent wood legs and crosspieces, very light lines, slender uprights, and curved internal separations. The model is particularly decorative today and can also be used as a magazine rack, book storage, vinyl cabinet, or side table. Overall good condition considering its age. There are signs of use, wear, small marks, and finish wear, especially on the top and legs, visible in the photographs. Beautiful preserved antique patina. Original THONET WIEN label present. An uncommon piece of furniture, representative of Viennese bentwood furniture and the Secession / Art Nouveau period, as interesting as a collectible item as it is a decorative piece of furniture.
