Art Deco pink glass cheese dome

This bell jar with cut corners, topped with a lovely faceted knob, rests on its tray adorned with relief spirals and small curled motifs that play with light and offer superb salmon reflections. Made from mass-tinted moulded glass, in that famous pink hue so sought after by Art Deco glassware enthusiasts, it stylishly protects a camembert, a brie, or a small goat cheese. A lovely piece to give or to treat oneself, it brings softness and retro-chic to a buffet or a tastefully set table. Antique pink glass sometimes shows small moulding imperfections, signs of authenticity that add to the charm of the piece. In good condition apart from a slight chip on the edge of the bell (visible in close-up in the last photo).
