40/3 David Rowland Chairs for Howe

Awarded many times for their innovative lines, the chairs of Danish designer David Rowland display minimalist, airy, light lines... Published in 1964, they have not aged a day since, even becoming an iconic piece of 20th century design. The chrome sled base is thin, the ultra-ergonomic seat and back are in taupe gray metal sheet. As for their enigmatic name “40/4”, here is the explanation: stackable, the superposition of 40 chairs measures only 4 feet in height... The structure of the chairs is in chrome metal, the sled base is thin. Seats and backs are in taupe colored metal. The series has some scratches and traces of use, it is functional.
