This unique piece stands out with its richly crafted arm adorned with a chimera, an emblematic symbol of the Empire and Neo-Classical style. The chiselling work is remarkable, particularly on the creature's wings and the cup (bobeche) featuring acanthus leaf motifs. Material: Solid bronze (beautiful authentic patina with traces of verdigris proving its antiquity). Decoration: Winged chimera, scrolls of leaves, and architectural motifs. Condition: Good condition.
