Pair of wall sconces "Bernadotte" model 6080 in ochre porcelain by Sigvard Bernadotte for Ifö - 1960

Superb and rare pair of vintage Scandinavian wall sconces from the mid-20th century, model 6080, designed by Sigvard Bernadotte for the Swedish manufacturer Ifö Electric in the 1960s. This set features robust, angular bases made of high-quality glazed porcelain, in a beautiful ochre/mustard yellow shade that is highly sought after. The screw-on shades are made of thick white opaline glass, creating a soft and diffused ambient light. Designed with timeless Swedish functionality, these versatile sconces can be installed facing up or down. Originally used as bathroom lighting due to their durable ceramic construction, they make perfect centrepieces for a contemporary hallway, bedside lamps, or flanking a dressing table mirror. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The glass shades are perfectly preserved. Please note: a small discreet chip is present at the base of one porcelain shade (visible in the photos). It is completely invisible once the lamp is mounted on the wall. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
