Designed by rainer daumiller, a german-born designer who moved to denmark in the late 1950s, these 6 pine dining chairs were made in the 1970s. Daumiller was influenced by the teachings of rudolf steiner, who favoured natural materials and simple, practical designs. He chose pine for its strength and environmental sustainability. These chairs, produced by hirtshals savvaerk in denmark, are known for their sturdy construction and comfortable design, making them a great example of scandinavian modern design that focuses on usability and minimalism.
