6 Alexandrite Longdrink Glasses - Space Age 1970s Italy

Beautiful set consisting of 6 drinking glasses. Interesting design language in space age style, textured, organic shape, from the 1970s in Italian design. They are made of alexandrite / neodymium glass. This means that a substance has been added to the glass to absorb the yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting the object is lilac / pink, in cold light (e.g. Fluorescent tubes and similar) the object is a violet to light blue colour. 15cm high. 5.5cm diameter.
