An iconic piece of Italian modernist design. Pirellone floor lamp, model 2758, designed by architect and designer Gio Ponti for Fontana Arte in 1967. Inspired by the Pirelli Tower in Milan. Structure: satin nickel-plated metal. Diffuser: large pressed curved glass tube. Lighting: normally a double light, but the central column is not working (despite replacing the bulbs and switch); only the dimmer switch at the top functions. Condition: good condition for a 50-year-old floor lamp (see photos). Dimensions: H 184 cm, W 37 cm, D 18 cm. The low price is due to the non-functional second light source.
