Golden frame

This superb first empire period frame has standart dimensions (73 cm X 60 cm) capable of. Perfectly suited to a portrait or any other painting. It can also be mirrored and receive mercury or old ice at your request (count between 150 euro for a so-called "chemical" mirror after 1870 or mercury (count 250 euro). Like most frames of this period, this empire frame has ornaments that are common to them: palm palms frieze (inspired by napoleon bonaparte's egyptian campaign) and something rarer, alternating with oak leaves (symbol of strength in the decorative vocabulary). The frame is composed of a thick and solid wooden molding decorated with gold stucco ornaments.
