Elegant hand-thrown stoneware tea set, consisting of a teapot and six matching bowls, glazed in a delicate speckled celadon shade with blue-gray highlights. Late 20th century. The engraved signature "Boisbelle" places this piece in Henrichemont (Cher), the former principality of Boisbelle, now known for its close ties to the great ceramic center of La Borne. Refinedly handcrafted, this set evokes Japanese Mingei, with a refined aesthetic where the material and glaze express all their poetry. Ideal for everyday use as well as for decoration, it embodies the slow deco spirit and wabi-sabi beauty. Engraved signature under the teapot and six bowls: "Boisbelle" Beautiful vintage condition: a chip under the lid and one on the rim of the teapot's spout, a hairline crack on the handle without affecting its strength (see photos). Teapot diameter: 12.5 cm, height: 12.5 cm, 10 cm without the lid, length: 19.5 cm including the handle and spout; bowls: 9.5 cm in diameter, 5.5 cm high. An authentic and poetic piece, combining French ceramic heritage and Japanese inspiration.
