Original Pirkka dining table by Laukaan Puu designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara from the 1950s. An original Tapiovaara from that era, not a current replica. The design combines rusticity with elegance. Rustic in materiality, elegant in finely executed construction. A divided tabletop reduces the size of the table surface, making it lighter and less dominant. The contrast, the two-tone feature of the tabletop and the table frame, is particularly important. The frame consists of solid wood elements painted black, designed in a spindle shape and functionally connected. The table is in good condition with a clear patina. It is precisely this individually developed patina that makes this table unique.
