Iconic aluminium jug designed in 1955 by Erik Herløw for the Danish manufacturer Kløverblad. With a tall cylindrical shape, this jug stands out for its deliberately streamlined line, interrupted only by a slight asymmetrical wave at the top, forming a discreet and perfectly integrated spout. The angular and assertive black Bakelite handle creates a sharp contrast with the softness of the aluminium and acts as a true architectural counterweight, almost cantilevered. At first glance simple, this jug reveals great precision in design and remarkable mastery of proportions. An emblematic piece of Danish design from the 1950s, where function is elevated by a rigorous formal expression. Very good vintage condition (slight signs of use consistent with age).
