GWT & S Branchages model dessert plates

Set of 5 ironware plates, branchages pattern, by gwt & s, an acronym for the british earthenware company george wardle turner and sons, which operated at the victoria works factory from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. The plates feature a transferred design of birds perched on branches in pink on a light beige or cream background (depending on the patina obtained for each plate). Thus, two plates show a darker patina. Only one plate is chipped (see photo).
