Large vintage Italian plate – hand-painted floral decoration – Primula,

Charming vintage decorative plate in Italian ceramic, 1970s. Each piece in this series is hand-painted, making the decoration unique. Here, two large, vibrant orange and yellow flowers, accompanied by olive green leaves, stand out against a slightly speckled sand-colored background. Signed intaglio Primula – decorata a mano – Made in Italy: Primula is an Italian artisanal production workshop, very active in the 1960s–1980s. Their style is recognizable by the hand-painted decorations in bold colors, often floral or geometric patterns, a rustic but neat ceramic, designed for everyday use as much as for decoration. Diameter 28 cm. Large, can also be used as a dish, slightly hollow. Very good general condition, slight signs of use related to time on the edge, a glaze defect next to the stem and the leaf (see photos). A vintage Mediterranean look, artisanal authenticity, the possibility of mixing the pieces for a bohemian chic effect.
