French Louis XV Style Walnut Marquetry Commode, 1950s

Stylish walnut dresser from the second half of the 20th century. This refined dresser is crafted from walnut wood and richly intarsiated with a light-colored wood. The top and edges of the dresser are wavily profiled. It features three levels of drawers set on a massive base, composed of a profiled crowning molding and a cornice with acanthus leaves at the corners. The entire design is complemented by striking drawer fittings. This piece has undergone renovation and is in very good vintage condition, showing no defects but slight traces of use.
