Ki-e-klair lamp model n°01 with reflector n°150. Waxed brushed steel arm. Large round reflector – mirror-polished aluminum on the outside and white lacquered on the inside. Arm and reflector articulated via special patented joints. Original vice clamp in embossed waxed brushed cast aluminum "ki-e-klair a.p bte s.g.d.g" B22 socket, power 60 watts. Dimensions: extendable arm height 40-70 cm; length 25 cm; width 15 cm; reflector diameter 15 cm. Weight: 1.3 kg. Manufacturer: ki-e-klair, asnières-sur-seine. Design: alphonse pinoit. Construction period: early 40s. Mechanic fitter, alphonse pinoit creates at the end of the 30s a double articulation lamp allowing a complete orientation at 360 °, unlike competing lamps of the time... Patented in 1936 and awarded at a lépine competition, the mechanics of the joint was definitively developed in 1941. With a certain sense of humour, he then started the brand of professional lighting "ki-e-klair" and affixed his initials "a.p". Lamp restored while preserving its history and its original patina: metal parts (steel arm, brass joints and cast aluminum vice clamp) brushed waxed colorless, mirror-polished aluminum reflector (original interior white paint patinated with partial gaps), new electrical wiring composed of a black flat cable 2 X 0.75 mm² elastomer. Superb patina and condition. Rare model from the beginnings of the brand (1940s). See photos.
