Minimalist walnut & steel stacking side tables, 1960s, Set of 2

This minimalist set of two walnut side tables with especially narrow profiles was made in the 1960s. The modernist design tables feature offset steel frames of identical height, so the edges sit flush all around the tops when placed parallel to each other. Both table tops have a characteristic strong wood grain, veneered with real walnut. Total height when stacked: 54 cm. Both pieces are in very good original condition with only minor traces of use.
