Table Charron Paris

For sale: superb oval dining table by Charron Paris (230 cm X 110 cm) A unique piece. The Top: Authentic vintage top produced by the famous French house Charron Paris around the 1960s (attributed to designer René-Jean Caillette). It is made of Rio Rosewood veneer. The marquetry is crafted "in the sun" with a very graphic, contrasting, and spectacular grain. The varnish is glossy and luminous. The Base: The original base, which was not preserved, has been replaced by a modern black metal central leg. Dimensions: 230 cm (length) X 110 cm (width) Condition: Very good overall condition. The brilliant varnish beautifully highlights the wood patterns. A few light signs of use typical for a vintage piece. The metal base is impeccable and very stable. The base is detachable for easy transport.
