The lamp is constructed from stacked pieces of textured green glass wired together over a metal frame, forming a cylindrical architectural structure. The layered glass elements create a rich atmospheric light effect as illumination passes through the irregular glass surfaces. This handcrafted construction reflects the experimental spirit of late 20th century Italian design where lighting becomes both functional and sculptural. The lamp has been professionally rewired for modern use.
