Boomerang Sofa by Hans Mitzlaff for Eugen Schmidt Soloform, Germany, 1950s

Vintage design sofa by Eugen Schmidt, a rare version with armrests. Designed by Hans Mitzlaff and manufactured by Soloform in Germany in 1953. This piece features a brass frame and a cherrywood frame. All cushions have been reupholstered and re-covered. It has been attributed based on archival documentation, such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources. It is in very good condition, showing no defects but with slight traces of use consistent with its age. It also underwent reupholstering.
