Golden old and new world map

Vintage gold framed by Joan Blaeu, Dutch master cartographer. This is a reproduction of the large gold leaf of a double hemisphere world map from 1665. It presents countries, seas, legendary creatures, people, mountains with great precision and multiple colors. The golden highlights make the painting very attractive. The card is in excellent condition. The frame is in gold aluminum, the glass is broken at the bottom left (see photo). Dimensions: width 47 cm – length: 56.5 cm.
